I was looking for simplicity in a portable DVD Player without any extras. This model is great for viewing my DVD’s and playing my CD’s at home and in the car. It is easy to use, has a great picture and sound, charger and car adapter included at a low, affordable price. Great product, you won’t regret it!

By Thill

As we have frequent car trips of 2 hours to visit family on weekends, we picked up this DVD player for our 20 month old toddler. Our trips are now happy trips. This is a perfect size, the picture and sound are great. It easily plugs into any TV where we stay to view movies on a standard size TV for the family.

Most importantly it works well and our trips are now comfortable for everyone and she no longer minds the time it takes to get there. The battery does last two hours but we just plug it in to the included car adapter and we don’t worry about it.

This player is so easy to run you don’t really need the instructions.

Great Buy.

Granted, not everyone is going to end up with a defective battery (mine, after only 2 charges, was limited to 30 minutes of playing time), but there are other issues as well. The power button is extremely small and difficult to manage, the cover for the DVD feels particularly flimsy, and the volume wheel on the side is downright inconvenient – and very outdated. It’s very light, but presumably, that’s because the battery isn’t as substantial. For the extra $10 or so, the 7″ Sony – which includes a remote control as well, great if you have kids, and MUCH better battery life and controls – is a large improvement.

Tips in Choosing Plasma TV Mount

Executives summaries from many articles by Helson Xu

Plasma Mounts

Plasma Mounts

When you buy a Television, I think you will consider where we must replace it. It is no problem is you have a large room, so you can place it on television desk or table, but if you don’t have a large room, I think it is better you buy a mount for your lovely television.

There are many things that should you know before you consider to buy plasma mount for your lovely plasma television.

First thing you need to consider is whether you need your mount to be adjustable once it is on the wall. There are basically four types of TV mount :

  • The first is the most basic of which is often called a fixed mount. As you may imagine, these types of mounts simply hold the TV flush against the wall. As they are the simplest type of mount they are often the cheapest, however they do not allow you to tilt or adjust the TV
  • The second type of mount is known as a tilt mount. As the name suggests these mounts allow you to tilt the TV up or down once it is on the wall. They are a little more expensive than the fixed mounts, but they do give you the flexibility to change the angle of the TV – this is especially handy is your TV is near a window because the angle of the screen may have to be adjusted at different times of day in order to avoid glare.
  • The third type of mount combines a tilt mechanism with a swivel mechanism. This mount not only allows you to tilt the TV up and down, but you can also swivel it horizontally. This is really good if you want to watch TV from several different positions. These mounts are also ideal as they allow you to move your furniture around without compromising your home cinema experience.
  • The fourth, there are articulated arm mounts. These feature a sophisticated arm system that gives you the greatest level of flexibility. The arm folds away so the TV can be pushed flat against the wall while not in use. You can then pull the TV away from the wall and position it anyway you please in order to get the best viewing angle. These types of mount are ideal for those people who want to be able to watch the TV from different rooms – from the dining room while you are eating dinner for example. However, as they are the most complicated type of mount, they are also generally the most expensive option as well.

Something else you should consider before making your purchase is that some TVs require that you use a specific type of mount, while others simply have standard spaced holes in the back to allow you to use practically any mount you wish. Make sure you check your TV owner’s manual to see whether your TV is compatible with all mounts or whether you require a specific type.

Choosing the right type of mount really does depend on your own personal needs. If you definitely know where you are going to place your TV then a standard fixed mount should be adequate, but if you want maximum flexibility then an articulated arm type of mount would be what you need. There’s a lot of information online, and remember you can always ask a sales assistant at your local home entertainment centre to help you if you are still unsure.

Bronica Lenses And It History

Executive Summaries from many articles by Helson Xu

Bronica History

Bronica Lenses

Bronica Lenses

Bronica or Zenza Bronica was a Japanese brand of professional medium format roll-film cameras, including rangefinder and single-lens reflex models. Bronica cameras first appeared in 1958, when the company’s founder, Zenzaburo Yoshino, introduced a camera of his own design, the Bronica Z rollfilm camera, at the Philadelphia Camera Show. The name “Zenza Bronica” is reputedly derived from Zenzaburo Brownie Camera. The Bronica Z and successor Bronicas, using large-coverage, high-quality Nikkor lenses, became instant successes.

Bronica later introduced lenses of its own manufacture with its later camera designs. Zenza Bronica Ltd. was eventually acquired by the lens manufacturer Tamron. Zenzaburo Yoshino died in 1988.

Tamron discontinued the brand’s single-lens reflex models (SQ, ETR and GS) in October 2004. Bronica’s last model, the RF645 rangefinder camera, was discontinued in October 2005.

Bronicas were workhorse cameras for wedding and portrait photographers for many years. Secondhand Bronica cameras are still widely used by professional and serious amateur photographers, in no small part due to superior image quality of 6×4.5, 6×6 and 6x7cm roll film over smaller film and digital sensor formats.

Bronica SLR cameras employed a modular design: The major components of the camera lens, body, film back and viewfinder were separate and interchangeable.
